O'Malley Girls On The Run

Maureen, Tracy, and Tara are at it again! They learned 2 years ago that if
you can run 26.2 miles, you can accomplish anything. They also realized
that marathons are addictive. With crowds cheering and a medal around
your neck, it is one of the greatest feelings you can ever experience.
However, these girls knew that while running 26.2 arduous miles is
ultimately a reward in itself - what could be more rewarding than running
a marathon for a good cause?
As most of you know, these girls are not the fastest runners and are
relatively new to the sport. In fact, all three of the girls were in
their early 20's when they completed their first 5k. Over the recent
years, the O'Malley trio realized the all around benefits of running. It's
a sport each wishes that she picked up at an earlier age.
Girls on the Run is a life-changing learning program for young girls ages
8-13 years old. The goal of the program is to help young girls improve
their self esteem, have a healthier body image, and complete their first
5K (unlike the O'Malley girls completing the first 5K in their early 20's).
The O'Malley girls need your help in raising money for this fantastic
organization that helps to improve the lives of young girls daily.
